No matter how the presidential election turned out, roughly half of all Americans were going to be unhappy with the result. The truth about our divided nation is that America needs God now more than ever. We focus on our opinions, our personal agendas and the position or platforms we want the world to see us aligned with, but we overlook the obvious.
Neither candidate running in the election was a perfect choice. There is only one perfect choice to guide our decision making, and that’s God. We’re running our lives, our families, our businesses, and our nation as if we have the capability, on our own, to make the right choices.
Each of us should be asking for God’s guidance every day, every step of the way, on every decision we make. In prayer, Bible study, and through community with other Believers, the question to ask is not “God, how can you help me do what I want to do?”. Instead, the question to ask is “God, what is it you want me to be doing and how and when do you want me to be doing it?”
America Needs God to Guide Us
